It was announced at Comic-Con a few weeks ago that the Marvel franchise would be expanding with a new movie, Gambit.
This particular movie has been sped up with the help and push of Channing Tatum. He had been campaigning with 20th Century for the leading role and a producer role, but now it looks like he’ll be walking away from the movie. The movie’s production has had a slow start, but the absence of Channing might delay it even more. The reason for Channing’s exit is still unknown. The Wrap says Channing “has larger ambitions, which may play a role in the situation as it currently stands”. The movie is set to premiere October 7, 2016. With it’s leading man out of the film it it’s going to have to get a new one quick or push back it’s release.
